The browser tabs are found in the “Browse…” submenu of each menu item.



Filters

The Filters tab allows you to narrow your search results according to specific criteria.  Select the desired options from the lists in the drop-down menus.  Once an item is chosen from the first field, the second field (found immediately to the right of the first field) will display specifics pertaining to the search criteria.  If there is a blank box to the right of a drop-down menu, you may choose to select an option from the drop-down menu and then type the information in the blank box as your search parameters.


For example, to search for a specific course, select Course Title from the second drop-down menu on the left in the Course Browser (as pictured below).  Then, type in the name of the course in the blank box to the right of the drop-down menu.  Click Apply Filters to commence the search.

 

If you are unsure of the full name/title of your search item, click the Partial Match box and then click Apply Filters to search for items that contain your word and/or number.


Export

Reports containing information found in the browsers can be downloaded onto a spreadsheet format by clicking on the Excel, CSV (Comma Separated Values), or TSV (Tab Separated Values) link.  Most users who have Microsoft Excel or Open Office will download to Excel or CSV.


 

Bookmarks

While browsing reports in the Administration Tool, you can bookmark pages of reports that you would like to return to at a later time.  

  • Before bookmarking a page, you can use the filters to narrow your report (i.e. for specific time frame, specific course registration, etc.).


  • To bookmark a page, simply click Save next to the New Bookmark field under the Bookmarks tab.  You can also edit the name of the bookmark from what appears in the field and then click Save to save your bookmark.


Whenever you log into the Administration Tool or return to the Home page of the Administration Tool, you will see your list of Bookmarked Reports.  Each bookmarked report will remain in your list until you delete them.

  • To return to the Bookmarked Reports screen from anywhere in the Administration Tool, click Home in the breadcrumb navigation bar.


Actions

The Actions tab can be found in the User Browser, Course Browser, and Registration Browser.  This tab gives administrators the option to edit the status of multiple users, courses, or registrations at the same time. 



In addition to Edit Status, the User Browser’s Actions tab will also give administrators the option to change users’ groups as well as enroll multiple users into a course.
